Troubleshooting
My system's suddenly acting funny. Something no longer works.
The first thing to try is quitting your browser, then restarting it. That often helps clear the "shrapnel" out of your browser and fixes many problems.
If that doesn't work, try restarting your computer.
If you're at an office, it's possible that your administrator has blocked items that are necessary for Web 2.0 services like Active Allowance to work on your computer.
And lastly, if for some reason there's a persistent problem, and you're not at the office, it may be one of your browser's many settings or it may be infected with spyware or other malicious code. The easiest solution is to download the free Firefox browser. It's been gaining share from Internet Explorer for good reason!

How do I get rid of the shaded field in a Responsibility Checklist?
If a Responsibility Item field is shaded, it's because you gave your child the day off - either on purpose or by accident ;-)

To change it, click on the blue EDIT icon (near the far left of the line). The line will "open up" to enable you to edit it. Check the days as appropriate.

Printing is small when I use Simple Print. Can I increase the font size?
Printing from a dynamic web page like this can be a bit tricky. It varies by platform, by browser, by fonts installed, by your browser settings, and perhaps by the phase of the moon. That's one of the reasons we created Cool Print - it uses Adobe's PDF standard.
However, if you prefer Simple Print, here are a few suggestions to try out:
1) Try scaling the page to make the print size bigger. The how-to varies by browser. Check out our Help Guide Simple-Print page
2) If you have another computer in the house or office, try printing from that one and see if you get the same thing. There seems to be some variability in printing - most browsers print fine but others print tiny text some of the time, depending on settings on that particular computer.
3) Download and try the free Firefox browser. It's open source and is a lot more faithful to Web standards than Internet Explorer. That's one of many reasons it's been gaining on IE in market share.
