Printing - Cool Print

Cool Print gives you access to our more advanced printing features. It uses the universal PDF format created by Adobe that ensures you don't have problems with different browsers, different fonts, different platforms etc.

If you use Windows, you do need Adobe's free Adobe Reader. Most computers have it installed but if you don't, you can get Adobe Reader for free here.

if you use a Mac, you can either use Adobe Reader or you can use Apple's Preview software that comes pre-installed on your Mac.

Graphic Header

You can turn the graphic header off if you need to conserve vertical space

When the header is turned off, you'll still see it on the screen (in grey), but nothing in that section will print. Instead, near the top of your printed page, you'll see a simple text row.

Points On/Off

You also have the option of turning off the Points rows. This could be useful if you're not linking Chores to Allowance and would like to save vertical space.

If turned off, the signature row and the points rows will not print.

Bonus and Notes On/Off

You also can decide whether the Bonus and Notes sections should print.

Icons

With Cool Print, you can also select an Icon for each Responsibility Category and have it print on your child's Checklist.

Just click on an icon to the left of a Responsibility Category and a selection window will pop up for you to choose from.

Children can also do this selection from their portals.

Background and Colour Style

Click on the Customize icon and a window will pop up with a selection of background patterns you can use for your child's Checklist.

Similarly, you can select Colour Style to change the colours of the rows.
