The Weekly Process
Step 1 - Print the Checklist
Print this page once a week, and place it in a highly visible spot (e.g. the fridge) - or use a clipboard for each child.
Step 2 - Your child fills it out during the week
Your child uses the Checklist by putting a check mark after each completed task. If all the items in a category for a given day are checked, full points are earned for that category. At the end of the day, your child counts up the day's points and a parent initials.
Note for "de-linked" families: If you've chosen to de-link Responsibilities and Allowances, the points total has no affect on her allowance. You can access the "Link/De-Link" option by clicking the Setup icon for each child.
Step 3 - Enter Points at the end of the week
At the end of the week, you log in and enter each child's point total in the Results/Info window.
The system will automatically calculate and deposit into each account the allowance amount earned, based on:
1) the "Regular" allowance amount for each category and
2) how well your child did that week on Responsibilities (above or below 100%)
If you don't link allowances and responsibilities, the "Regular" allowance will be deposited into each account.
