Deposits Withdrawals and Transfers

Making a manual deposit, withdrawal or transfer

From time to time, you may want to make manual entries into your child's account. Examples might include:

Deposits
- birthday gift from Grandma
- baby-sitting earnings (for older children)
- a special reward not normally included in the allowance

Withdrawals
- your child may be too young, or simply forget to write a check from her portal. You can decide to do a withdrawal from yours.

Transfers
- you notice your child wrote a check from the wrong account. You can either delete that entry and create a new one, or simply transfer that amount from one account to another.

The process is virtually identical for each, so we'll just describe how to make a deposit.

Making a Deposit

1. Click on Deposit in the Bank Account tab.

You'll see a window open up (below).

2. Select the account to which you want to make a deposit from the drop-down menu.

3. Click on the calendar icon to choose a date if you wish to change the auto-entered date.

4. Enter the amount, a description and click Save.

That's it. You're done.

What your child sees

In your child's portal, she'll see the new amount in her account, as well as a message in her message center letting her know a deposit was made.
