I so agree, and might even put it more strongly: if you want an attitude (or an attitude change), start with the behaviour first ... even though you, or the child, don&#039;t quite feel like it yet.  I think many modern behavioural psychologists would back me up on this one.

example: you can tell your kids how to welcome guests to the house, take their coat, make them feel welcome ... or you can do it that way yourself, and  gently goad them to do it that way too.  Personally, I&#039;ve had more success with the second approach.</description>
